Apology.
For several years, I accused you of being the root of my sadness
You were the reason my room was always dark
Shades pulled down, lights off, people drowned out
But I neglected to apprehend your idea of happiness
Whilst I dreamed of snow storms and walks in the park
You believed in our love without a reasonable doubt
So for that, I take it back
I apologize for scrutinizing your ways
For I knew not what I did
You make up for the traits that I lack
Until you, I walked throughout this world in a daze
I’m sorry for acting like such a kid.
